Hello! My name is Kathryn Tiefenthal. My husband Andrew and I reside in Sharpsville, Pa with our dog Barry. We are members of Notre Dame Church in Hermitage. I am a 2008 Graduate from Edinboro University with a Bachelor’s in Science Degree. In 2012, I graduated with a Master’s in Education with a focus on Reading from Edinboro University. Since graduating in 2012 I continued to pursue a Second Master’s in Special Education. Currently, I am enrolled at Gannon University for a master’s degree in Educational Leadership.
I have been a first-grade teacher in the Diocese of Erie for the past ten years. It has been my pleasure to be a part of the Kennedy Catholic and St. John Paul II Family. I look forward to continuing to build on the relationships with students and families that I have been able to establish over the years. I am extremely excited and honored to be starting this new role as the Principal at St. John Paul II Elementary.
