Welcome back KCMS/HS students!

Aug 24, 2020 | COVID-19, KCFS News

We are extremely excited to be welcoming all students back to school tomorrow. As a reminder, it is MANDATORY for all students to wear a face covering (mask or face shield) at all times while in the building. Students will be social distancing while in the building as well. Please note the change in times as sent out with the new bell schedule. The late bell to get to homeroom is at 7:55AM.  All students will be required to be in homeroom no later than 7:55AM.

For those attending in person, the doors to enter the school will open at 7:30AM. All students must have their temperature taken upon arrival to school. Any student with a temperature of 100.4 will be sent home and not permitted to return until cleared by a physician.

For those attending virtually as well as for all students on Wednesdays, students will be required to log into every Google Classroom during the normal scheduled time to be counted as present and to get their school work for the day including homeroom. Daily attendance will be taken in homeroom Attendance will also be taken for every class. Students MUST log into every class during the class time. This is different from remote learning in the spring. We are proud to participate in synchronous learning to allow for the best educational experience for all. Please email your teachers if you have not been added to their Google Classroom.

Athletic teams are permitted to practice but are limited to ONLY coaches and players. No other spectators or volunteers are permitted to attend practices. As soon as any updates and guidance are given through the PIAA or the governor’s office regarding spectators at games and matches, we will communicate that with you.

We are so excited to have our students walk through our doors tomorrow! Get a good nights rest – see you bright and early!

Thank you!
