A Message from KCMS/HS Principal, Mrs. Erin Marks

Dec 22, 2020 | KCFS News

Dear Parents/Guardians,

The end of 2020 is upon us as we wait in joyful hope for 2021.  This year has brought great challenge to all but as the Golden Eagles we are, we have risen above and accomplished great things!  I am so proud of all our students for persevering and overcoming the obstacles placed in front of them.

As a reminder, instruction will begin again on January 4, 2021 VIRTUALLY.   We will be virtual the entire week and look forward to welcoming all back in-person on Monday, January 11.  Mid-term exams will take place the week of January 11.  There will not be an altered schedule as students will be taking these exams in their normal class periods.  These mid-term exams provide valuable feedback as our teachers plan for the remainder of the year.  Looking ahead, Friday, January 15 and Monday, January 18 there will be no school.

All students are required to check into homeroom each morning for daily attendance while we are remote.  If they do not check into homeroom, they will be counted as absent.  Please let me or your teacher know if you do not have the google classroom code for your homeroom and we can certainly make sure your student is in the correct classroom.

The school office will be closed until January 4, 2021.  If you need to contact the school for any reason, feel free to email me (emarks@kennedycatholicschools.org).  If you need to contact the school nurse, Mrs. Linda Perrico, please email her at kcnurse@kennedycatholicschools.org or by phone at 724-854-7736.

From all of us at Kennedy Catholic, we wish you and yours a very blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Blessings,
Erin Marks

Principal
