Saint John Paul II Elementary PTO Meeting Minutes

Meeting brought to order at 8:06
In attendance was:

Meeting brought to order at 8:06am. Mr. Testa started off with announcing that Pennies for Patriots started on Monday of this week, and a Rediker will be sent out to everyone providing more details on the fundraiser. He also reminded everyone that March 22nd and April 7th will be school make-up days with at 12pm dismissal.
Mrs. Teifenthal stated that Spring Field Trip discussions had started to take place among the teachers and that nothing has been finalized yet.
Nicole Perry started with announcing that the Applebee’s Fundraiser raised $697.00, and that the Catholic Schools Week T-Shirts cost the PTO fund $900.00. Jeans day money from January went to Mrs. Marks for her musical, this totaled $125.00. This year PTO will be providing Field Trip T-Shirts but not field fun day shirts, we are working on finding a more cost friendly alternative to shirts for field fun day. PTO will be providing a Valentines treat to all students, popsicles. Random acts of kindness teacher luncheon will take place February 20th, Hickory Grille will be catering. The Easter Candy sale will take place from March 4th- March 14th. The Living Rosary has been rescheduled for March 6th at 1pm. Jungle Terry has been rescheduled for March 21st at 6pm. Muffins with Mom has been rescheduled for May 10th at 7:45am. Father Daughter dance is April 27th, the theme is a Masquerade Ball. Mother Son night will take place on May 4th from about 4-7pm at Five Fillies Farm in New Wilmington, PA. Details to follow. Meeting was adjourned at 8:19am.
