Buhl Regional Health Foundation (BRHF) offers scholarships to students who plan to pursue a career in the healthcare field. BRHF will award $5,000 scholarships for the 2022-2023 academic year for BRHF’s Health Career Scholarships.
Applicant must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Be a resident within the Foundation service area (enclosed)
- Be pursuing an R.N., bachelor’s degree or higher in a health-related field
- Be enrolled as a full-time college student for the 2022-2023 academic year at an accredited college or university.
The BRHF Scholarship Applications Portal opened on December 1, 2021. To complete the application process, applicants must create an online user account via the BRHF Online Scholarship Portal. Applicants must compete all application questions as well as provide all required information and uploads to be considered for the scholarship. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Required information and uploads may include: Student I.D. number, GPA, two letters of reference from a college professor, high school teacher, coach, or guidance counselor; current complete transcript from institution student is presently attending; completion of online essay. All applications must be received by 11:59 p.m. on February 15, 2022. No late applications will be accepted. Scholarship recipients will be notified and receive their awards the last week in May. If there is an awards ceremony at the high school, college or university, BRHF staff may attend to present the award. Scholarship checks will be made payable directly to the college or university in June 2022.
