Hello SJPII Families!
I hope your weekend has been relaxing and great! I most certainly enjoyed the extra hour of sleep today after a long fun-filled week at SJPII!

Thank you again to all the families who came to see our Halloween Parade and those who participated in the SJPII Trunk or Treat Event! It was a wonderful and memorable time for the whole SJPII school community. The trunk or treat car displays were so creative and fun! We can’t wait until next year!

As a reminder, SJPII Picture Make-Up Day is this Tuesday, November 7th. Students who are getting their picture retaken must bring their original photos to turn in to Lifetouch on this day. Please let your child’s teacher know if they will need to have their picture retaken. This will take place at the start of the school day.

SJPII Service Club will have their first meeting of the school year this Wednesday, November 8th from 2:30-3:30pm in the SJPII MPR. Students will be working on creating the donation boxes for Sister Margaret’s Thanksgiving Food Drive. Students who have signed up in 3rd-6th grade should plan on attending the meeting. Students will be dismissed in the parking lot following the meeting.

SJPII celebrated All Souls Day this past Thursday with a dedication and prayer service to our loved ones who are no longer with us. Thank you to Mr. Masotto for creating this space for the students. We appreciate all the families who sent a photo in as well. If you missed the memo and would still like to send a photo, please feel free to do so. The students have asked to keep this up for a bit longer. At anytime of the day, you can see students of all ages stopping by the prayer area and saying a prayer!

For the month of November, we will be focusing on the Fruit of the Spirit of displaying faithfulness as we continue to live out our school theme of Peace, Love, and Prayer.

May God bless you and your families.

Educationally Yours,
Mrs. Kathryn Tiefenthal
SJPII Elementary Principal
