We will be having a school play directed and organized by junior Maggie Mutchler. All students in grades 7-12 are welcome and encouraged to participate! If you are still getting familiar with the difference between a play and a musical, a play does not have any singing or dancing involved.
We are looking for four boys and four girls to fill the roles of the Snow White and Red Rose cast. The play will be performed to the students of SJPII at the end of the year. We also need students interested in stage design, prop building, makeup, and costumes.
Students involved will practice during 9th period on Tuesday and 9th period and club time on Thursday. There is no after-school commitment for this! This is an excellent opportunity for any kid used to being on stage or a first-time actor. I will send home a permission slip for any student involved.
Auditions will be on Tuesday, February 13th, during 9th period. Maggie will provide anyone interested with a small paragraph to read for their audition.
